Make Steve Smile
Make Steve Smile
My friend Steve has Silent Enamel-Eating Syndrome. Please help him and spread the word about this dangerous and stealthy disease.
Meet my dear friend Steve. He's a nice guy, takes care of his wife, generous with his friends, does the right thing. He's upbeat and loves to smile. There's one problem, Steve has a rare form of Silent Enamel-Eating Syndrome that is literally eating away his smile.
He's been laid off during this economic bust, and the surgery to restore him to health costs about $25,000. And they don't have it, neither does his family, nor do I. The dentists won't even begin the procedure without 50% down.
But I thought with my web design background, the least I could do is reach out to all of you for some help. You see, he has a big heart and has always been there when I needed a friend. But that's what I'm worried about too, dental disease is directly linked to heart disease.
Please donate as much or as little as you are able, even $5 or $10 can help when enough people join together. That said, it's also tough getting a job when one's teeth are not looking presentable in a professional environment, so you just may help him get a new job too. Wow, a few bucks can do a lot!
Just click the PayPal Donate button, you don't need a PayPal account, it only takes a few seconds, and you can use your Visa/Mastercard/AmEx/Discover credit card if you're a little short on cash yourself but still want to help. It's greatly appreciated!
Also, if you know any dentists in the Northern California area that would be willing to donate part of the necessary procedures, that would help a lot too.
